# Forever & Beyond.......
He sat there with a gloom on his face… not believing yet again he has been left behind by his beloved family member to go on a trip...
His world would come crumbling down as soon as he would realize what he feared the most has already happened. He would lie outside the room of his beloved person all day , giving up on food and playtime. He would whine around looking for the missing person and would express his sadness in all possible ways.
Such is his emotional display. The others in the house could always see the change in his behavior. His attachment to his human family is beyond words to express.
The unconditional love that he displays is so touching. He has no other motive behind his expressions.
I am particularly taunted by my children as they always say," But Maa, he is your favorite kid in the house and you are partial towards him." I have never denied it either.
Probably I am….I feel a connection with him which is unspoken from his end but expressed in volumes through his gestures. I know he has no other face or feeling hidden behind his actions.
He never talks about himself but listens to all that goes around while we talk about the happenings of our lives, and keeps up an appearance of being interested or concerned in the conversation. That's the depth absorbed by him I guess.
He always has boundless sensitivity and no sense of ego. After any disapproved action by him, even if he is shouted at or handled roughly by anyone, he would turn around and try to cling and lick that person to show he still loves us .
I am an ardent dog lover… My heartfelt gratitude to all the dogs ever possessed by me- Jackie, Bruno, Priya, Leo and Sultan…. I salute your truest and purest form of existence on this Earth. You indeed have given me happy memories and lessons of life that I shall cherish forever and beyond....
Amma this is just too cute ...

Wow Rekha. I am touched by your empathy. Yes, The greatest fear dogs know is the fear that you will not return to them once you go out.We can judge the heart of a person by his or her treatment towards pets. I am reminded of Freud who said, ‘Dogs love their friends and bite their enemies, quite unlike people , who are incapable of pure love and always have to mix love and hate.’ Wonderfully penned down emotions. After reading yours I feel like having one for myself too. Really enjoyed.
